Stan, good luck with Elvis' rehab. I know how much he means to you. Congrats are certainly in order for Rose, Hottie and Zeus, as well as Menmon. I have marshalled a couple of Q's and it takes an excellent team of handler and dog to run one of those.

As for me, I have been so lucky to have been able to train with so many trainers that have helped me so much. Huntinman, that was Shooter's 1st Grand pass and it takes 2 to title. Molly also has 1 pass since she passed the fall 2013 in Iowa. Dee as well as Molly made it to the 4th series in the spring of 2013 but I lost them both in that series. The Fall Grand this year is in Union City Tn., just 45 miles from my farm and of course we will be there. The spring of 2015 is here with my local club sponcering it on the very grounds you and I trained on early this year. You need to bring that pup back so I can see how much he has progressed.

So, it turns out the procedure is called a "swivel-lock."
He is home now and walking with full weight on his leg.

It looks like this may work!!

The challenge of course is to keep him under control for a couple weeks!!!!

Hope all goes well on the rehab and keeping him under control. Keeping them in lockdown is always the hardest.

Would like to wish Menmon and his dog Isaac very good luck in the upcoming National Amateur Championship being held in Roseburg, OR starting June 15.

It takes some doing just to qualify, and Mike and Isaac have had a tremendous spring! If you guys just keep doing what got you there, you should be fine. Have fun!!

Are you going to have the time to do some pre-national training out that way, Mike?

Way to go Mike. Was that your 1st MH dog or have you had one before this? What is so special about the 1st is that you now know that you and a dog can do it.

Thanks to you Bill for keeping us posted of the accomplishment of those who post here.

Congratulations to Menmon also. Boy would I like to hear from him each mark and blind and how he and his dog dealt with it. If this is his 1st time at the nationals, I can imagine the butterflies he will have just for the 1st series.
