Default Ammo Does it Again/Double Header Win

Wooohooooo does it get any better than this.....just heard from Micki that Bill and Ammo just won ANOTHER Double Header Win this weekend at the Spokane Retriever Club FT. That makes 2 Double Header Wins in less than 3 months. Bill and Ammo are currently the Top All Age Dog with 31.5 points/ FC-AFC-CFC-CAFC Upon The Wings Of An Answered Prayer, LF, 5 wins, 31.5 pts, 10 plc. This doesn't count this weekends wins yet!! Way to go Bill and Ammo.... Very Proud of you both!!

No one has won two Double Headers In the same year since 2003 FC AFC Creek Robber. In 2000 We had FC-AFC Chickamauga Choo Choo achieve two Double Headers In the same year. In 1998 2 Double Headers was achieved by FC-AFC Candlewoods Desert Storm. It then goes all the way back to 1982 with FC-AFC Watergator Will. In 1978 it was achieved 3 times by Eurcolydon. It was also achieved 3 times by 75 NFC, 76 NAFC 76 & 77 CNFC Wanapum Dart's Dandy in 1976. There were more 2x Double Header winners but only 2 dogs have ever won 3 double Headers in a single year.

Roy McFall won two DH with Hiwood Piper en route to winning 16 times in 1977..He and Piper also had 3 other trials that year where he won one stake and finished second in the other...He also won two DH's in 1978

When George won the DH with Will it was with a non collar trained dog
The same for Piper and Roy

Congrats to Mr Petrovish and Ammo on making a run at history, very good for the sport, I wish him well the rest of the year

All great dogs have one thing in common. They get the birds week in and week out. They are alway in position in the end with the opportunity to place... Or win.

Bill and Ammo have run 10 weekend trials so far in the US this year and have 7 wins (3 Open, 4 AM) and 5 other places. Throw in a couple of Jams and she has been there at the end with a chance a good percentage of the time (even with my poor math skills). One trial of the 10, they came away empty handed.

41.5 all age points through mid May. Great start to her year so far.

Ammo's old derby buddy, Bullet, is also up to no good. Winning his 4th straight (I believe) Open this weekend!

And Slider (also in that same derby class) is having an awesome season so far, leading the high point AM chase.

There are plenty of other great dogs out there who can get on a roll.

Ammo, Bullet and Slider are in the midst of a really interesting season. May they all continue the run they have been on!
