    Default I need help......

I live in the Grand Blanc, MI area and need someone to show me properly how to FF my dog. I have Evan's book and have access to the DVDs, but I have ADD and I learn better by seeing it live and hands on rather than reading or watching videos.

My girl has 2 passes towards her JH, but has been having some issues (mostly hormonal) after a litter of puppies. We had a couple of fails recently at a HT. I have begged the local people who belong to the same Lab club that I do, but my pleas are ignored.

I am willing to travel up to an hour to Lansing or Lapeer. I am willing to throw for you if that's what you wish in return. I've had 2 shoulder surgeries so my throws aren't always the best, but I am willing.

I'm about to give up since I can't find anyone who will help me. Thank you.

Thanks Mark. As soon as I get back from the dog show I'm at this weekend, I've got leads to follow up on. One person who responded has seen my stellar throwing in action and he wasn't intimidated. He can help me with Raven and in turn I can help him with his dog.

I'm just afraid of ruining Raven by doing this without guidance.

The fact that you are concerned about the dog, but determined to try indicates to me many reasons why I think you will ultimately have a nicely forced dogg with a good delivery. Enjoy the journey!

Try Darrin Mormon of Farpoint Retrievers in Freeland. There are few that are more helpful than he is. I personally take my dogs to him for force fetch cause I am always afraid I will be too harsh. He has a web site and often trains near Perry.

Do you really want to increase entries at the Junior Hunt Test level? Simply put a limit on entries and everyone will flock to JR and fight over how to get in and what to change to make it fair for all !!!!!
