    Default Rooting for California Chrome

While it may not be a good bet, I'm pulling for California Chrome to win the Triple Crown... so much can go wrong the odds are slim...

He's a beautiful horse with an extra gear..hope he pulls it off tomorrow...

I hope CC wins too, but other than for sentimental reasons he's not exactly a good bet. Interesting article about the possibility of a (slightly) bigger payout betting him to show. There are some good fresh horses entered and it's a long race where anything can happen, but it sure would be nice for racing to have a Triple Crown winner.

    I'm rooting for Chrome.

1 reason, because the elite experts say he can't do it!!!

One positive... Chrome has been getting stronger in his workouts... he seems to be ready...

I am rootin' for him too...but he is running against the largest and best field and potential triple crown ever has......so if he wins, he will be the best ever!

since Tim hasnt shown up here YET....no horse has won the Belmont in 20 years from the # 2 slot....the last potential TC winner to try from the # 2 slot was Silver Charm ( I know because I bet on him)...the last Kentucky Derby winner to also win the Belmont was my friend Gary Stevens and Thunder Gulch in 1995...and the reason I know that is Gary told us (his former agent's sons were/are my golf pals) he had a winner in Thunder Gulch so we bet him big in the Derby and won big, lost half of it in the Preakness and won it back in the Belmont....unfortunately he has no mount in this year's Belmont so I cant bet him here....

I hit the exacta and the trifecta in this year's Preakness and actually lost money on CChrome wager....

his pedigree suggests that he doesnt make the grueling mile and a half on the Big Sandy
