Pro Pac 26/16 most of the year.

My dogs don't exercise hard enough most of the time to justify the extra protein load on their kidneys or calories from fat.

AND they look and feel good on this food.

If we hunt upland all day in cold weather, 30/20...

PPP makes a Salmon based 30/20 Sport - I'm currently feeding to my older dog who had been on the Chicken based PPP for his entire life, but was not maintaining weight recently...he's gained 6lbs back in 3 weeks feeding same amount.

I feed 30/20 year round, and share my peanut butter and crackers in the duck blind.

I like one-shot kills where possible and prefer to do all my hunting before I shoot. ..... Elmer Keith

So for a more active dog a 30/20 would be better but for less active 24/14?

Yes. If the dog is hunting/training/trialing hard it should be on 30/20. I feed it year round - just a bit less in off season. 24/14 would be okay for the average house pet that is not being hunted or is not very active

I feed PPP focus. It's 26/12 or 26/14. I can't remember. Seems to work well since min tends to bulk up even since I run her every day. Never tried 30/20 but i believe next bag I will

I've fed PPP 30/20 since it came out. Feed less in the summer, due to the heat the dogs generally don't eat as much. Also believe the quality allows me to feed less per dog, and I have luckily had few injuries and vet bills, and I believe this may be part of that also.
