    Default Fly Predators

Anyone use these to help with fly control around the kennels? I am trying to get a handle on the fly problem I am having and seeing if anyone uses them.

They are sold on gundog supply's website and they are called fly predators.

I use them at my barn (horses, cows, sheep) and they make a huge difference.

I use them and have for about 15 years, but it's best to start early before the flies become a problem. If you've already got a lot of flies, get started on the predators with a couple of double doses, but you can also hang several of the bag fly traps to help cut the numbers down fast. Hang them in the shade and away from your kennel area because: 1.) they smell like garbage; and 2.) you want to lure the flies to that smell and away from your home/kennel etc.
