    Big Green egg!

small amount in the fire bowl, close lid, regulate dampers for corrrct low heat, close lid!

fire will burn slowly and perfectly all day without adding any more hardwood lump charcoal!
Snack all day on corn , peppers, burgers, and dogs.

    OK, that 'splains it.

lump charcoal for cooking hot dogs seemed to conflict with your rule on thank-you notes for a hot dog dinner invite.

but then I wasn't realizing you were cooking the dogs on an $1100 dollar ceramic grill

Clearly the best way to fix a hotdog is Chicago Dog Style...

Wonder if they have any of them triglyceride thingys?

http://www.glazierhotdog.com/ Guys in the North Country love these Gooser. Not sure if it's what you're looking for but they're supposed to be excellent.

http://www.glazierhotdog.com/Glazier..._Companyt.html / Here is a testimonial video. Did a little more checking and they're made with a beef and pork combo and natural casing. Hope this helps.
