Default How big does a puppy need to be to comfortably wear a dummy (turned off) collar?

I think I know my puppy is big enough from watching the Bill Hillmann DVDs, but his neck looks so small and I have lost the shorter contact points on my G2 collar. He is about 29 pounds and 14 weeks. Does that sound big enough?

I have a 11 1/2" not even 20lb Beagle. She wears Tri Tronics recievcer (G2/G3) AND the Garmin DC50 and she doesn't notice either.

I usually start my puppies around 4 months wearing the collar. Make sure you make it fun when you put that collar on. You want them to be excited about the collar and going play the game not fearful and running when you put it on

Thanks, I put it on him tonight. I didn't put it up really high because it didn't seem like the thing to do.

That sounds like a good idea. I know you probally do that because it is smaller. My pup barks at me. I figure it gives me a chance to work on the quiet command.
