Liked Diamond years ago but way too many recalls........to chance it. We feed Pro plan, awesome food plus they sponsor a lot of test and trials.

Used to feed the Naturals line. Stopped after the 2012 recall.

I fed Diamond for several years.. Then a few years ago they had their first recall due to several deaths.. What was revealed from their own records and what really pissed me off was they had known the product was tainted for over 8 months but still sold it and I believe they would have never admitted it if not for a investigation that show the common link was Diamond Dog food.. I remember catching it on the national news and I had a bag with the lot number that was suppose to be tainted.. The news said return any bags back to where it was purchased for a refund, I went to Tractor Supply where I had purchased it for a refund and they were still selling the stuff, said Diamond hadn't told them to pull it...That told me they could care less for people's dogs and swore I would never buy from them again don't care what they do or say....

The first bag of Diamond Dry Dog food was recommended to me, as we were using Taste of the Wild for my dogs, but it is too expensive for a 50 lb bag. I like the idea of the food supposedly being "all natural", but I'm not sure I will buy this food again since it seems to be affecting their stomachs. Get more information about: Vets Somerset

Feed Diamond Senior Brand for dogs 8+. Never had problem. Grey bag and now just called Diamond Senior.

FYI - for FT dogs I feed Purina One lamb & Rice.

My pup ate 1 bag of Taste of the wild ,did ok on it, 2nd bag turned her nose up at it , ended up giving the rest to a friend with 6 dogs they ate it mixed with their reg food . Feed her Dr. Tims Pursuit now ,she loves it and is as shiny as a new penny .

They have killed too many dogs for me to not feel guilty about saving a few bucks. Stick to Pro Plan.
