Have fun! Can't wait to be back at it myself. Sept 1st starts our early goose season. Goose hunt the morning, bow hunt my target buck that evening!

Hey, Robt. (and attn: Mr. Atkinson), I get a kick out of seeing The Glorious Twelfth referred as to "the start of (y)our hunting season" - what's it run now, $8,000-$10,000 for two days on a butt for Americans wanting to bag a brace?

But following your lead in labeling the big day, it appears that our nimrodding brethren might be leaning toward naming our traditional opener "the GlorioUS First" - September 1

which is a start at considerably less cost per head of game, shotgun (but not loader or gundog) included.

Depends what you want or ask for MG ?
Walked up Grouse which I will be on at the weekend with a few mates will cost around $100 and I'll be more than happy to take the 2 brace I am fortunate enough to shoot over my dogs.

Our 1st September is the 'Glorious' Ducks

I hope you have great hunting seasons! Someday I will be there with enough time to be able stop by and see you again.
