Interesting list. What's the criteria for nomination/admission to the hall of fame?

Recruit as many people as possible to submit a name to be considered for inclusion on the ballot

the rule used to be the dog had to be deceased at least two years, but with the new gatekeepers of the RHOF that looks like that criteria no longer exists

IMO they need to resurrect the "old timer's commitee", but considering most that were on there no longer are with us,they might need a "new(er)-old timers", but then again deciding on who belongs on that group might take up more time than who belongs in the hall

One other suggestion would be that any dog that enters the RHOF should have their Amateur handler included too...my .02

Next year they will change the protocol of how to nominate. This will be a significant improvement. But still the old timers from 50 years ago will not have a chance to ever be nominated unless they adopt and old timers classification. There are several candidates that I can think of that should have been charter members of the hall of fame.
It was impossible, so it took a little longer to accomplish.
