FYI - I have never seen a post on this forum by those you call anti-union saying one word about private sector unions, other than
to possibly laugh at some of their bargaining tactics - think Hostess Brands or IH .

But I know there are many on here who have an issue with government unions - started with FDR. They play on a field that's
    not level .

Or how about I dislike unions, take the day off and don't get paid at all? You don't have to take anything from your boss, including a paycheck. I will give unions their due, they helped to improve conditions to the state they are in, thanks. Now go away, unions have outlived their usefulness. I had a non-union job for 15yrs. I got fed up not being treated or paid the way I deserved. Instead of whining and starting a union to take more of my boss's money, I became the boss. Hence me enjoying Labor day and the opening day of dove season for no pay. It worked out well couldn't be happier.

There is more than one way to pound a nail regards.

you don't think that the US workers might possibly do better quality work and that is one reason for moving the plant back to US soil? I don't appreciate the innuendo either.

Shiney there are some people who bought into the 1980s Japanese work supremacy theories (even tho they lost the big one - WWII) touted by some US business schools and used it as justification to buy Japanese products. A whole mystic came about that Americans and American workers were incompetent. Couple that w/a dislike of unions for getting some people "more than they deserve" - "money envy". Ironic in that professional sports embrace unions and create mega-millionaires based on athletic skills and their owners pay billions for their toy sports teams. China comes to the forefront not because of skills but because of cheap labor costs ! There is a basic disrespect for working people - not pseudo middle class wanabees. We found out in 2008 that many who thought highly of themselves were not worth much at all.

    Marv,
there are folks here that have stated in the past that unions need to go away. Public and private sector unions. My friend Swampy is one, Luvy is another, Road Kill repeatedly refers to them as "DA UNION". There are others that show disdain for anything union.

I repeat - I have seen no one post on this forum that you describe as non union who puts down private sector unions
they play on a level field. While I don't read any of luvy's posts any more, few of Swampy's, I do read the majority of RK's
posts as I believe in most cases he adds to any topic. Please provide me with a couple of examples of
    RK's posts
where he exhibits this anti private sector union thing

    Marvin,

When they indoctrinate people with the Union Kool-Aid they leave out those kind of facts about public/private unions. There just all part of the "Brotherhood" an no one can ever do wrong.

Even private Unions are no longer about quality work, they are about money, benefits, and what is the absolute minimum work they have to do to stay employed. We have both union and non-union factories, the non-union factories way outperform the union ones. And when the non-union factories do have an issue you can get them to fix it without having to wait 6 months for the union to decide if the workers want to make the change or not. If Unions actually stood for quality like they did in the 60s and 70s a lot less people would have an issue with them, especially those of us that have to actually work with them.

Its all economics, the dollar is very week and the last 6 years have driven US blue collar wages in the toilet compared to the world economy. And again as you have already admitted, you don't have a clue what back room govt bribes were used to make them move back.

I believe Marvin may be suffering from alzheimers.
