Have fun. I ran my girl last month and we got all the chickens in the first series but had a hunt on the long retired and wasn't called back. I looked at the positive in that she did a good job and that 50% of the dogs in AA stakes go out in the first series. She did JAM her first Open last weekend though. Not 3 yet.
Bubba, had a blast for about twenty-five dogs, as we had a side bet. Running litter mates, I had the pleasure of running first.
Triple, two retried guns and a short flyer. I'm at the line for what seems like forever(thirty seconds). Call for birds, dogs sees first bird, swings for flyer, and brakes. Kerry picks up bird before it hits the ground. Bubba tells me he put an ear piece in and tells Kerry to break. He's laughing and thinking about what he's going to spend all his money on.
Dog eighteen to the line y'all know the dog steady as a ROCK. Bubba and Colby are on the line; and he sees all the guns. Bubba calls for the birds. Bird one, bird two, flyer is down. Colby breaks a split second before the judge calls dog!!! We have a rematch next month. Bubba's going to win this time as he's running my dog.
P.S. The bet was per bird. I think I won! Bubba stopped Colby before he could pick up his bird!!!!!

We will likely talk more about the two litter mates breaking in their first all-age trial than if they would have won. That dollar bet has now turned into a torn dollar bill that will be framed with the new title of the broken dollar award.
When and where is the rematch? I gotta be there, seeings as how I am the head cheerleader.
