Default A Question for HT/FT Judges

When you take a break for lunch and have a series with an honor, do you run a by dog so the honor dog does not have to wait a long time to honor?

I've never been a Judge at an event that shut down for lunch.

I've seen one FT and one HT that did but no honor was involved in either.

I did have to wait about 2 1/2 hours to honor at a Triple D/Q years ago.

I typically don't stop the test to eat. I either eat during the running or eat between series.

I have lunches distributed to the workers during a rebird or gun change and feed myself on the fly.

    What's a lunch shut down?
I always thought that good employees always worked through lunch; and given what they are paying us for judging, I just keep judging.

If there is a honor involved than I guess you would tell the handler of the honoring dog to put their dog up and then have them come back for the honor when lunch was done.
