I've been trying to order some back issues of Retriever Online but can't get anyone to answer the phone or return a call. They must be south for the winter. Anyone know?

Nothing beats Retrievers Online for nuts and bolts how to information about dog training and dog handling. Period.

    Granddaddy,

I am fairly certain Dennis is in Florida/Georgia training. Try his email.

Got email from Fiona just last week/had Nov.-Dec. issue sent out by her -- think she's still up here in Great White North -- know that Jan./Feb. issue goes out first or second week of March -- so keep trying email

I also have to agree with the positive comments about Retrievers Online. I chose not to renew our subscription to RJ, and pick up R.O. Tons of useful drills and training tips. The commentary is pretty good also.
Our next purchase will be RFTN.

I have to agree with the other comments in this thread. Retrievers Online is probably the best periodical source for all kinds of training drills, book and video reviews, judging questions and all other retriever related discussions. It comes out every other month for 6 issues a year and the Jan/Feb issue each year contains an article index for the previous years. You can also order back issues for several years.
