TV Show: NATURE: "Dogs That Changed the World"

-- OUTSTANDING!!! Where did dogs come from? How did they bond to us? The hunting dog; The spiritual dog; The guard dog; The sled dog, and the herding dog. THEY changed our lives. THEY made possible, things we do now and take for granted.

I am so looking forward to part two next week.

If you did not see it, watch for the reruns. Local to me it is going to be rerun everyday this week.

If you are a dog person, like all of us are, it is a must see!

I saw it, and was very bummed to find out it was a 2 part-er. I want to see the next half, but will be out of town and will miss it. Boo-Hoo. I will have to check that re-run schedule. I may just splurge the $20 to order the DVD so I can have my own copy.

I watched part of it. It was very interesting. I never saw much on the hunting dogs, at least not the ones I think of like Labs, pointers, spaniels, etc. Did I miss that part, or was it just talking about the more ancient hunting dogs? I nodded off for a good bit of it. I really like the part about the border collies. They are amazing animals.

Sadly, "hunting" was represented by the natives of New Guinea with their mutts, instead of the bird dogs in the US.
