These are field trials and the people involved largely don't understand a normal day much less a "normal days hunt".
Now that looks like a ton of fun!! Wish I had a mud boat...

It was a great weekend;
Saturday went to the Herb Festival, Kentucky Derby party
and Boxing party that night.
Sunday went to the Crawfish Festival for a little while,
left early as it was way too hot and Booty Raider
won the Am at Brazosport!
Going after Sac Au Lait next weekend!

That's what we call them around here, we don't eat no crappies! There starting to catch them in the Atchafalaya Swamp so we'll have to bring some fly swatters to keep the gators away. I like to pan fry them whole and served with crawfish sauce on the top.
Hey Ken, Caddo Lake is in Looisiana, you don't have anything closer to home? That's a lot of driven to catch them small pan fish!
