    Default BBC to Interview Chris

The BBC have contacted me in relation to Chris' visit to Northern Ireland.

They have heard about his skills with a duck call and have invited him into Broadcasting House on Saturday 26 May for a live radio programme that will be heard throughout the UK. In addition to talking about duck calling, Chris will be asked about the sport on his side of the pond and the interest in hunting in the US and Canada.

He will, of course, be given the VIP treatment by the BBC with a limo picking him up at his hotel and returning him there afterwards.

This is in addition to the three interviews lined up for him by local radio stations and the television interview before the game fair.

Autographs will be signed upon his return to the US!

I just hope he doesn't let the US down by not being able to keep up, or at least make a reasonable showing, with the local lads and lasses when it comes to the consumption of the local potables...

    i can't imagine a better representative from the U.S.!

i hope his calling routine doesn't get too distorted by being in a studio....it is meant to be heard in a larger room or outdoors.

i'm sure it will be somewhat different than what you normally hear in the UK.-paul

I just pee'd my pants...only a couple drops but it still counts as wet britches.....

Brother Bill, this trip is going to be great.

Brother Uncle Bill, the brilliance of Red Green is something I'll have to remember while over there.

Sister Angie, who'd a thunk it? Remember back when I phoned up Curt (Angie's 6 foot 6 "little boy") and tried to make him my little PA State Youth calling protege'?

Bill, just got the rental car details.... How long does it take to get a passport? Do you get them at the post office? I guess I better go look into that....

With eight days left I hope you're kidding about the passport. Normal time for issuance is 3-6 weeks. To get it now you will need to get an emergency issuance and probably have to go directly to the nearest Federal passport office. You will need your tickets, birth certificate, drivers license and maybe social security card (they've added requirements since I got my last new one five years ago),along with passport photos.
