    Default Condolences to Janice Gunn

Janice lost her beloved Indy on May 31st. She died suddenly from pancreatitis. She was Janice's first Golden & the dog who brought John into her life. She was formally known as: Cdn. OTCH, Am. OTCH Shoreland's Indy Two Hundred Cdn. & Am. TD, MH, WCX, CGC, TT, OBHF.

Janice described her in a heartfelt tribute as "my heart, soul, best friend, shadow, always by my side.

Janice-my heart goes out to you as the titles Indy earned for you came from mutual love & respect & you're allowing her to shine. Soulmates come once & leave a place in your heart no other dog can lay claim to.

    Godspeed Indy.

Bless your heart, Jan. Cherish those great memories of Indy and the times you had together. I hope all is well with you and John. See you in July.

I am so sorry to hear about Indy. I remember when Indy's litter was born, sometimes it seems like yesterday. I spoke at length with Sue about it and was so tossed between that litter and Yvonne's Bomber-Frisbee breeding ( where I got Sneakers). I had seen Flash at the Western Regional and was mesmerized by him but SO loved Bomber.

What a special girl Indy was and I know you will always treasure the memories and the direction your life has taken as a result of her. Fourteen years is never enough despite trying to cherish every moment. Sneakers will be 14 this month and I regularly shed tears when thinking about the future. What a Journey it has been with these girls.

You & John will be in my thoughts

Janice, my sincere condolences on your loss of Indy. It is so wonderful that she brought you into the Golden world, and got you together with John. The achievements you both have made them speak well for all of you.

I still remember Indy when she would come down our way to run a hunt test. In fact, when I started my search for a new Golden in '01, the first person I contacted to ask where I should look was Janice. I contacted her and asked, "Where can I find a dog like Indy?"

Indy was a fabulous dog that left quite an impression on me.

How lucky you both were to have each other. May the good memories help you through your grief.
