Default After 4 surgeries and a long recovery

She is finally back. Some who know me may remember my dog almost didn't survive a hunting accident last year. After 4 surgeries and a 6-7 month recovery well...........................

That's great. Looks like she is feeling good and ready to go. Good pictures.
I don't know what happened to her but I'm sure you're glad to have her back launching into the water.

Gotta love anyone who doesn't give up on their dog.

She is happy as can be!!!!!!!!!!!!
That tail goes crazy and it almost seems like she is so happy to be out there that she is paying more attention to me.

If there is still one problem it is me because I still worry every time we train now. I guess I'll quit worrying with time and I just have to remember she is doing what she was bred for and what she loves to do. So if she gets hurt again at least it's while doing something she loves.

p.s. Miriam thanks for all the supportive e-mails while we were going through this!

Amazing pictures, especially the first one. Their recovery times are remarkable. She is probably good as new if not better than before. Congratulations on winning the battle!

I don't know what happened but it's good to hear you girl pulled through.

She looks like she missed the work

I think she missed the work and now my problem is trying to figure out where to pick back up on training.
It's been so long that I have to figure out where to start, what to repeat and where to go.
I guess I back up and start her back slowly and see what she remembers and how she responds to everything. Either way it's just good to see her back having some fun.
