Spin off from the bitch thread.

If the world only produced 2 types of pedigrees, which puppy would you buy for playing dog games.

1st choice; dam and sire have FT titles and the remaining 60 dogs on the 5 generation pedigree have no titles at all. They were all bred because they were great hunting dogs.

2nd choice; all of the great, great grand parents (16 dogs, 4th column) had FT/NFT titles and their parents had FT/NFT titles. However none of the dogs between the 4th column and the puppy ever earned any titles. All the dogs between the puppy and the 4th column were beloved pets and hunting companions.

Assumptions
- All hips, all dogs are “good”
- All dogs are CNM clear
- All puppies are the same price
- All dogs are tested for every defect possible and all have the same clearances.

What puppy would you buy?

Kind of a stupid poll don't you think. Field breed vs. backyard.... Make the options a bit more realistic.

Dam and sire both FC/AFC/MH/HRCH.....
Sire FC/AFC/MH/HRCH and Dam nothing but champions three generations back
Dam FC/AFC/MH/HRCH and sire nothing.....

Now that made me laugh – Maybe it is a stupid poll?

This is a hypothetical poll to make people think and choose.

BBG lets follow your path of thought – which puppy is from the BYB? The one bred from “great hunting dogs” or the one bred from “beloved pet, hunting companion”. Remember, they all have all clearances.
