Woman tells police someone shaved her cat

TOWN OF ASHIPPUN — A denuded cat prompted a call to the Dodge County Dispatch Center Sunday night.

Pet owner Kimberly M. Meyers, 32, of Ashippun, reported around 9:15 p.m. that her cat had been shaved by a person living in her Amanda Street neighborhood, according to Dodge County Sheriff’s dispatch logs.

Officers are planning to talk with the person responsible. Filed by The Reporter, Fond du Lac

Been checking the police blotter to see if this is a chronic problem - (might be a serial shaver on the loose) or if it is just a one time random drive by shaving. Looks like we might need to set up around the clock surveilance to ensure that there are no more unwanted shaving episodes.
