Just curious if there are any nice aluminum dog boxes for a reasonable price. Looking for a 2-dog box for a 2007 Toyota Tacoma. I've priced several but all are over $1000. I do realize that "you get what you pay for".

We bought the Utility Box, #LABB from Lion Country last year. It fits in the back of our 4 runner, it is a very nice box. The price on it was only $399 plus $40 freight. Don't know if they still carry it, because I don't see it in their newest catalog. But you might check with them. The catalog we ordered from was the Fall & Winter 2006. I have the Owens model 55010 http://www.owens-pro.com/hunter.php which works well and costs under $600. It slides easily in and out of my Toyota Tacoma.
I also have an Owens box and it seems to be made well for the price. You need to measure between your trucks wheel well to be sure what ever you decide on will fit.
