For all those on the board what caused you to take it to the next level and become a professional trainer? How did you make the transition to the point? I'm not looking to start controversey or stir the pot i'm just curious. Thanks Chris

All wet labs smell good!
I am not a pro, but imagine the reasons sound like this --
"I got dropped on the head as a child."
I lost a bar bet."
"Mental illness runs in my family."
"I wanted to see what it was like to work 100 hours a week and still make less than a shoe salesman."

Thank you judges who score Style, you are preserving Desire!
or this...
"It was the only way I could get people to call me on my cell phone... ...night & day"
"I wanted to be by my own boss instead of work for one (or 16) with unreasonable expectations."
"Who needs 3 meals a day? This is the weight loss program for me!"
"Unlike coaching kiddie sports-nobody wants their dog to be the star. They all just root for the team!"

Well-honestly-I would hope so, but I know from a couple conversations (firsthand-not hearsay & not with the pro that did the basics on my pup) that there is at least one person who views their dogs as a commodity & is not thrilled when another dog on the truck does better.
I am sure the majority of folks who have their dog with a pro chose that pro because of their track record & absolutely hope they do well with every dog on the truck. I know that's how I would feel.
Anyway-I posted from the same place Amiablelabs did-I wasn't trying to be too serious here!

or this,
It makes a pro's day when a clueless client with a talented dog tells them what their training agenda for the week should be because they may have missed that their dog needs more retired guns or work picking out the long bird or even should be working on the next level higher than they are running.
