Dog took my boots!

The neighbor hood dog ran off with my 11 year old Wolverine boots. I found one but could not find the other. I was getting ready for a pheasant hunting trip and sprayed them with some water repellant then left them on the porch to air out. They were old boots, but were hands down the most comfortable ones I have ever worn.

Since I'm leaving Wednesday night and start hunting Friday morning I don't have much time. I either need to purchase a pair of boots that require little if any break in time. Or I need some type of trick that will break in a new pair of Rocky boots that I bought a month back.

Any thoughts on a type of boot or maybe a trick to break boots in. I’ve heard Danner makes comfortable boots, but their not cheap!

Danner makes THE BEST boots.........Well worth the money. Mine required no break in time and have lasted longer than ANY shoes or boots I have ever owned. I have never waterproofed them or done anything to them and I am really, really hard on shoes and boots. They are great for upland/bow/and even not really cold shotgun hunting.

My Rocky's were a long time getting comfortable and didn't hold up nearly as well.

Try neats foot oil on the leather it makes it really soft and supple very easy to break in that way.

Since your NEIGHBOR is paying for them.... I would say get the Danners!
