New here and wanted to say hi
I just joined up so i thought it was time to say hello. I'm a bay dawg lover if you haven't figured out. I'm also into duck hunting and HRC hunt tests. I hope to see yall soon.... anyone training in the south carolina low country area or savannah Ga areas?? Training alone is rough and not as fun... later and happy holidays!!!
I have a 1 year old chessie i am in the process of trying to train. I live in NC and been hunting the past couple of days here and a few ago weeks in va. the birds were in greater numbers in va. Have you had any luck down in SC?

well I'm active duty millitary and i just returned home from deployment so i haven't even seen a duck yet!! LOL I'm glad to hear there in up there because i'm coming up in a couple weeks to hunt the outer banks. Where is your chessie from?? I have one coming the first week of FEB from westwinds kennel's in Maine..... I'm very excited!!!!

What a coincidence - I live in Beaufort and am also getting a MurryxAbby pup from Westwind.
My wife and i train with another person (and sometimes others) several mornings a week - we have a 21/2 year old lab.
Are you having your pup shipped from Maine? I am thinking about driving up.

Welcome to RTF. Pretty cool a new member post and the first to replies are from new members. We won't hold the chessie thing against you.
After over a year of asking me "what are you reading on that computer that is so dang interesting" my husband has signed on! Oh no! he will be keeping tabs on me! Hunt-Chessie, this is the coolest thing I have seen in a while, you enter your very first post, replied to by Ralph's very first post, about puppies you are getting from the very same litter. How weird is that? Welcome to the madness, enjoy the ride.
