3:34 AM first pup born...female.Happy daughter is mom.....Par Shooter son is daddy.....The first litter were nice sized dogs.This little gal looks large too.
Good luck with the rest of the puppies! Thats how we spent our entire Christmas Eve 2006. Labor started just before midnight on the 24th and pups didn't stop coming until just after midnight on Christmas Day! All was well, though, - just SLOW! Our last litter of pups were delivered between noon and 4:30 pm but that doesn't seem to happen very often!! Let us know the final count!

If it was easy, everyone would do it!
Whew! FIVE FEMALES,TWO MALES.had to bring her for C section,as there was 4 hours after she had the first....we tried oxytocin,to no avail.There was a dead pup in the birth canal,causing a traffic jam.All home strong and healthy,cept for us!
Congratulations! Good on you for knowing when to get to the vet. It's such a tough call at times. Enjoy that puppy breath!-Anne
