Was he out of business?
He was never unemployed Patrick.
He did sell the gundog business to Mike Stewart and focus on Commercial Real Estate for a while. After that, post 9-11, he got heavily into the detection aspect of retriever work. (explosives primarily, not substances of abuse)
Now he's back into the gundog side of it as well.
In terms of correct arguments, we had a discussion recently about my following the Lardy stuff to a "T". I told him how completely happy I am with my pup. He's OK with that. But he'll also tell you his views on what he likes.
There is no "right" or "wrong" when it comes to personal preference.
Some beauty pageant judges like blondes. Some like Brunettes.
I say more power to him, diffrent strokes and all that. If you say he's a good guy Chris, I personaly would put a lot of stock in that.

That is true! Absolutely true. Unfortunately that is not the whole story in this case. It is not just merely a matter of personal preference when those that prefer blondes manufacture lies about brunettes.
