The "meat hunter" name kind of threw me. If you are wanting field trial training, Sooner Retriever Club has some folks in that area.

unfortunately we (texoma hrc) don't have any training days planned in south oklahoma at this time--mainly due to cold water. We will be planning one within the next month but it will probably be around the OKC area.
you might try to contact Frank Price with http://www.bayoumagicretrievers.com/. He might be able to get you in the right direction.

Hi , yes I run field trials but would be glad to train with anyone hard set ups can be shortened or ran as singles ect. I would rather run multiple gun singles most of the time anyway. I have 3 four dummy launchers and 1 winger and an old ATV. One of my dogs I'm getting ready for all age and one is in transition? she's a bit of a problem child right now. pup is four mo. old and will be getting as many singles as he can handle well being OBed. I hope to throw fliers a couple of times a week. I will be staying in Bohnam Tx. OH and this being my first hunting season not working I hunted 5-6 days a week min. thats when my friend who lives in Dallas started calling me meat hunter guess I am. Ed
