Bittersweet story. Hard to read, but thanks for posting it. From the article:

While an assistance fund was set up, Sue Feuling said she was only thinking about her dogs. "Everything I lost is nothing compared to them," she said.

That puts it in perspective. If you're lucky enough to have a good dog-things are just things.

I feel terrible for the dogs and their owners. Nothing can replace the loss you feel. I had a house fire in 95 at night while at work. We had a lab mix that got my kids out. The house was toast, but the kids and dogs were alive. Amazing what these dogs will do for their people and how they know what to do!
