Good Feeling - OFA
Just got back from the vets for OFA...it's a good feeling walking out with at least a preliminary diagnosis of Very Good for hips and normal for elbows and heart checks for my boy. Still have to wait 3 weeks for official OFA results, but it feels better knowing there's a pretty good chance of favorable results.
I've been on the other end of the spectrum when my first dog (and now deceased) failed a CERF exam....not a good feeling at all.
$285 for the whole smash.

Finally got the final OFA results back today - All good!....Exactly 1 month after the exam to the day.
That's a long time to sweat
Got the cardiac results last week.
If you're waiting for results, it appears they are a bit behind.

good news!
I also had my first dog not pass her cerf...so know just how you felt/feel...
I have hip/elbow/cerf scheduled next month for my near 2 yr old chessie..hoping that everything goes good for us....
