Mass. dog laws

Hello all, I am puting together a list of people (mass. residents and people who participate in tests and trails in neighboring states) who are willing and available to testify at mass. senate or house committee hearings. Please email me with your info(email,phone # and when you can be reached.) I am gathering this list because time can be and IS of essence when these bills come up.
About a week ago I was notified the night before a hearing,well for obvious reasons I could not attend the hearing,(this bill hearing was regarding noise complaints coming from dog training areas. it was either H806 or S806).An important issue. The bills I am sponsoring along with the Mass. Council of Sportsmen have not recieved a number as of yet, but should be assigned anumbers shortly, these will make dog training in mass easier( allowing the use of long guns instead of just blank pistols) as well as make it possible to hold hunt tests and field trials without the requirement of EPO's being present at the cost of the clubs. Jim...would there be written material that one might sign in support, or letters, emails etc that could be sent in support?

Obviously we are in Maine but come down all the time to trial...also some training days, sanctioned events etc.

If I can come down to train I can come down for something that assures that will continue. Your club has been a big help to me. I need a little more heads up time due to the drive, but count me in.

Well, after talking to some more people in the know so to speak. I now know why alot of bills get killed. I was told that all I may get is a day or 2 notice of the hearing. So once the bills get assigned numbers I will be asking for letters and/or emails I can print out to take with me. If we can't get an army in the hearing room I can at least come with a stack of letters in support of the bills. All I can ask is you all hang in there with me and hopefully we can get some good done. Thanks again , Jim
