How often do you clean your dogs ears and what do you use.
Just like a humans..with Q-Tips! But don't stick them in to far into the ear. We usually clean them out once every month.

I will use a baby wipe to clean out their ears. If I think there is a problem I will of course check on them, but if there is no indication of a problem, probably once a month.

Oh I thought this thread was about funny ears like my dog has, sort of an extra fold and they point east and west. Nevermind, at least they are healthy ears.

The best thing is to put alcohol on a circular pad. The kind of cotton pads aomeone would use to clean their own face. Just put alcohol on it and wipe the ears out good and then take a dry one and do it again. Every summer mine gets "gunk ears" and i need to do this every other day at least. The vet also gave me some drops to put in after the cleaning.
Oticlens. I buy it at the vet for $7 or something and every so often I'll squirt some in, massage it in, and leave it. Works great and I don't have to get in there with q-tips or cotton balls.
