    Default Gas price strategy?

THANKS TO ALL for the gas price updates in your area!!!

Now a new question or topic.

With the prices of gas being so out of whack and no end in site, will some of you try to hook up with friends on trial weekends to get to and from more often than in the past?

Or do you think you might scale back your trialing?

    Thanks

I got this one cornered. I just call a tow truck and wallah- I sit in the back drinking way too much and listening to Abdul whine.

I had my dog truck converted to dual fuel - petrol/ gas and LPG. Halves my fuel costs.

Tired of spending $150.00 for every fill. Sometimes twice a week, with the miles I drive the dogs about.
Field trial labradors, the wind beneath my wings,

    sometimes poop under my boots.

Believe it or not Ed I worked for a large oil company Kerr McGee when I was car pooling and even today when we take bulls to events three or four of us load up in one truck and trailer for the weekend…never been big on spending more than I have to

I am the first to say $100+ per barrel oil and $10 per MMBtu is not healthy for our economy. Our gooberment could bring down the cost of domestic natural gas but the price of oil is out of our hands now.

    worked....I hate work.

Yeah, I never got use the "Big Brother" feeling I got while I worked that....quick BB story...I worked on 22nd floor, bathroom was full so I went down to the 21st floor. When I got back to my desk I got a phone call that went like this

Security: "is everything all right Mr. Johndrow”

    Me: Yeah…why?

Secruity: “we noticed you went down to 21st floor to the bathroom…may we ask why?”

Me: dude…I had to take a dump.

I then hung up the phone and watched for black helicopter for like a month.

NFHRA is trying to help. We are absorbing price increases keeping entry fees they same as the past 3 years. We are working with a local motel to offer a reduced room rate. Saturday night dinner is the same and we are encouraging car/truck pooling and will place riders together in flights if notified.

We expect at least the same #'s as last year in Master and look for a small reduction in Sr and Jr.
