Never trust a dog to watch your food!
You don't hear that too often. Congradulations! How many have had that distinction in the last 20 years?
What its prominence suggest, and what all science confirms is that the dog is a creature of the nose- A. Horowitz.
You sure don't see that everyday. Congrats on a wonderful accomplishment.

Congratulations!
I have judged a very nice IWS named Murphy in SC that has his SH title and is now working on his Master. He's out of two CH dogs if I'm rembering right. It's nice to see bench dogs also doing what they were originally bred to do.

Did this HT take place in Seattle this past weekend by any chance? If so, I had a friend tell me about this wonderful IWS that she saw run a Master test that was also a breed Champion.
How cool is that?????
That would be my Nike (Am//Can Ch Realta's Just Do It, CDX, MH, TD, RA) this past weekend in the Seattle area; she was the fourth IWS ever to get a MH title (her dam Stella was the third and her half sister Nova was the fifth). Nova is also an American champion and is the first ever IWS to qualify for the MN; hopefully Nike will be the second MN qualifier. The above mentioned Murphee running in the SC/NC area is a Stella grandson, as is my Monty who also ran in the master this weekend but did not qualify (he did get to run all three series tho). Those in the Penn. area may be familiar with Gali who is also running master and another Stella grandson.
Go IWS!!!

Hi All,
I joined the list today after intending to do so for several years. Christine sent me a link to this discussion thread and it seemed like the thing to do. Nova is Ch Realta's SuperNova CD, RN and is my second Master dog (with Stella being my first) . Gali (Christine mentioned him) is actually Nova's brother.
Qualifying for the MN has been one of my dreams (perhaps going on to QAA is another) and wouldn't have been possible without the support and encouragement of many friends/training club/pros. Tim Springer (pro) took Nova on last August when I ran into conflicts and he and Nova have really clicked. I had my doubts that she would run as well for anyone else but Tim and Nova have clicked. I have personally put six MH legs on Nova and Tim has put on three very crucial legs. Rick Stawski of Fine Line Retrievers laid all of the groundwork during three previous winter trips and has been there since I started in the field with Stella.
I look forward to learning from this forum as there are always problems cropping up when training.
Thanks for listening.
Rosemary
