Luby died at home in my arms as a result of liver cancer. After declining rapidly this week, I made the decision to end her pain and suffering. I am so grateful to Sarita and Bill McKnight of Moonstone for giving me the opportunity to welcome Luby "aka Lumpy" into my home in 2003. I will miss her "happy feet" on the line and jumping up and giving me a wet lick on the face at the most unexpected times. She had a comical personality, and a way of making me laugh and raising my spirit when I needed it the most. My heart is breaking. She was very special.
