Incredible. This barfbag offs two police officers and gets away with a life sentence, and his mother is suing cause he dies in an unairconditioned prison. He deserved to die in prison, in Ole Sparky from an overdose of electricity. I wouldn't give her one red cent, but looking on the positive side, even if she gets a couple million thats less than Georgia would have spent to fight his appeals of a death sentence.

I agree she doesn't deserve a thing but it would probably cost less.

I try not to post o this type of thread (no disrespect Bob), but as the aunt of a cop who entered the profession for all the right reasons...
..I don't approve if the prison was irresponsible in contributing to the man's death, BUT I find it appalling that this man's mother is hoping to profit from what ultimately put her son in prison in the first place.
Perfect justice? Sue. Win. Turn your settlement over to the families who have lost their sons, fathers, brotehrs at your son's hands.

This is complete and total negligence. The State is obviously responsible and should be found guilty of such. I hope the jury rules in favor of the plantiff and compensates the victim's mother accordingly.
I figure about $1.53 should do it.

It would be nice if the mother got a nice settlement, then the families of the two police officers could sue the deceased's estate and have something to collect.
