Question for Puppy Ad Users???

A couple weeks ago, I posted on the Lab puppy classifieds, and perhaps one or two other places, a way to edit the subject line of your ad.

This is a huge benefit to advertisers as it allows you to flag your ad, showing that you've edited something since it first went up.

You can show if you have someone back out, if you change pricing, or whatever....you can put in the date of your edit, etc.

I've gotten feedback from only one person and that was someone who was unable to get the subject line edit to work.

(I know that sortable is the way to go on classifieds and we've just not gotten there yet. Before we made classifieds non-repliable/non-bumpable, we had a bit of gameplaying that folks would do to get theirs or their buddies' ads to the top of the list.)

I tried it a few times, shortly after your post, and it didn't work for me. Haven't tried it since.

I don't have a puppy ad to try it out on, but I made up a test thread in the test section and I was able to change the original title of the thread.

It didn't work for me either. I could go into advanced and change the title when you click on the ad but not the title on the main classified page.

i placed the add for the pups in north carolina. vicky contacted me and helped me through a couple of problems. i tried to edit the title however it initially would not let me. i actuallly edited it however she was unable to view the changes. anyway, with her help it was done. i believe that she ended up being the one that changed it for me. she was a great help! this may have been my fault as i am a new user and had a couple of other problems as well.
