as some of you know I actually work at the Stratosphere Hotel- the Top of the World restaurant(Las Vegas) to pay the bills, got bored and thought i would show you the view, anyone coming out soon its only 110 degrees on the strip

Heck-only 110 on the strip eh?
I can enjoy that type of temps right here in Northern California Sac valley! AND we have the smoke from every fire in Northern Ca right now- have not seen the sun in days and get to breath smoke and see ash on our trucks. Only 111 here now...

I will be traveling to Vegas about every 3-4 weeks the rest of the year. I was there two weeks ago and it was about 105, man it was hot! 110 now, geesh!

I hope it's not true since they're your employer but I heard when I was in Vegas last rumors (?) that the stratosphere was going to be torn down and a new resort built in it's place. I can't remember the details but it seems like the property had recently been sold.

Have you heard anything about this?

recently sold to a private equity firm, and yes we heard the same rumours but with the local real estate market in the toilet even Goldman Sachs who financed the deal arent going to let anybody build anything in town that wasnt already funded and in the pipe so to speak.if it happens i have no control over it but you just dont tear down a Tower like ours, the Hotel maybe but not us, besides the restaurant does about 14 M a year
