Default We are BROKE DOWN on the side of the road! HELP!!!

We are driving a 2008 6.4Liter Ford Diesel with 8k miles.... just got fuel, got 5 miles from the gas station, and all of a sudden get a warning that says pull the vehicle over safely and the car with a lock symbol light is on and the truck is completely DEAD!

Someone PLEASE tell me what magic switch to flip to fix this. We are waiting on a tow truck, but that's gonna be a while.

    No ford jokes.

Call me at 214-395-1427 if you know the answer. Don't call to make fun of me or to tell me how much this sucks.

I'm with Carruth and he said there is something about the low sulfer scrubbers on these things but no one we've called can give us an answer.

We used the diesel nozzle.... no telling if the delivery guy put diesel in the right tank!

We are 5 miles north of Vega TX..... OMG this sucks, but at least i got cell and internet service so i can bitch about this to you guys while we wait to be saved by "Bubba" who we likely are pulling out of the pool hall to save us!

I would be suspect of dirty diesel with a plugged fuel filter.

Then there is no reason to call.

Call Smith, he knows all about that kind of stuff, he use to be a big Ford guy.

OK.... Bobby Farmer and John Gassner are MY HEROS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a security issue with the key. Lock and unlock with the remote and the truck started right up.

Both of those guys are getting Dogs Afield gift certificates from me!!!!
