Ok so let me see if I'm right. you can't order a kit. your vet should have the kits??? If I'm wrong how do I order a kit?? I check the web site and it wont let me order one. HELP.... So the vet has to ship out the samples.. but you have to print out the submission form..

Are the EDTA tubes something the vets have ...or must we order them from VDL ? I have printed the form,so should I have the vet send the sample with the check to pay VDL for the test?
Yep... no kit. Just a tube of blood that your vet collects. You can send it or your vet. I use the Priority Mail small "cassette" mailing carton - it is free at the post office. I put each identified tube of blood in a separate ziplock with a piece of paper towel. The ziplocks should be in "bubble wrap" with a cold pack of some sort (in this weather) in the box. It is $4.60 (unless the rate went up again) to send the box and it gets there in 2 days. Very simple. Make sure your vet checks the dog's ID when the blood is collected so you can apply for VPI status with OFA... or you can just submit your results to LabraData without the extra $15 fee.
