Tornado warning - kinda gdg
We are under a tornado warning. Please say a prayer that we (humans, canines & equines) will be safe.
First time I can remember in a looong time that we've gone from a watch to an actual warning. Reports show the bad weather about 18 miles away and headed in our direction.
It is very "still" outside right now.

Thanks for the prayers and concern. We are all OK. Some trees down, but nothing destroyed.
From the look of the storm, we think just a couple of miles east of us got the worse of the storm.
Pretty amazing outside right now....beautiful blue skies, lower temps....the storm definitely helped with the hot temps we had earlier today!

Back in the early 80s we had one hit here, it blew down my chimney, which bounced off of the roof and almost hit the neighbors boat and trailer. We were fortunate. I responded to a rescue call a few minutes later in the upper part of Dorchester Co. The twister colapsed a 3 story chicken house, killing one and trapping another. It also hit a trailer park near the 4H camp. The devestation was like nothing I had ever seen, it looked like the Jolly Green Giant had stomped on the trailers. Hope everyone is OK up your way Vicky!!
