No we just have panthers and coyotes that eat our dogs in addition to the snakes and gators. There have been at least 4 small dogs killed in my area in the last 6 months by coyotes WHILE THE OWNRES WERE WALKING THEM!!! I posted about it a few months ago. The panthers are a rare problem for us because they don’t like human contact, but every couple of years or so a dog gets it and a lot of livestock is taken by them.
What else you got?

Hey, there are Pumas plus Bears in central and southern Florida in addition to the gators and snakes. Florida has it all!

Throw in encephalitis, huge mosquitos, hotter-than-Africa heat, deadly water-borne amoebas that eat your brain (no joke), lightning, 80+ year old snowbirds still driving, tornados, hurricanes, felonious fsu football playas...you gotta be a tough SOB to live in this place.

You guys should look for jobs with your states' tourism departments promoting your states. We have dog killing coyotes here too.The "Wow" part is for the lion coming into the house at night to get your dog while you're sleeping.I guess I'll lock up at night when I visit Colorado.
