    One of my dogs will probably be at the trainer for several years. She is our sweet heart but is turning out to be quite talented.

    I asked a similar question about a week ago. From my take, if you are running FT then it's probably best to keep them with the pro, and make visits.

    It all depends on how far you want to go with the training and matching your expectations on the results.

    Thanks Loren. I had Noodle at the trainer for over a year while Jim was in Iraq and she is, without a doubt, my favorite dog. Noodle's daughter, Belli, is there now. She has been there 9 months and is doing well. (I have received videos of her training.) The trainer really likes her and would like to keep her longer.
    My kids are giving me crap about her being there too long.....
