Trying To Post Pictures - What Am I Doing Wrong??

I have posted pictures in the past with no problems. Today it is just not working. Either I get just a red X in both my post and when I preview it or else I get the picture in my in progress post but when I hit submit I only get the red X.

I have tried both imageshack and photobucket and it's just not working. What am I doing wrong?? I have read Ken Bora's instructions, etc and it's not happening.

Can somebody offer some helpful hints??

You start with a link to a picture and then you put these funny little brackets around it like these

I am in no way taking over for Ken Bora. That sap suckin tree hugger couldn't post pictures well enough to pour syrup in a thimble. If he don't like it he can just get his scrawny donkey back on this forum and tell me all about it. Besides he still hasn't told us who his short bald friend is in this picture....

I know that /Paul. I have the photos hosted at both imageshack and photobucket. I start a post I click on the little yellow picture box(insert picture icon) a window opens up and wants the URL of my image, I insert it and then I either get a red X on both my post - like here - and when I hit preview post I have a red X there. Or sometimes where I am typing - like here - the picture shows up but not when I hit preview or submit.

Any other ideas? And yes maybe beer would help - either that or I could just drink enought that I just wouldn't care I couldn't post a picture!

Looks like Ken is rubbing his certain spot on the bald guys back. Ken must be lonely not having a computer. Is the bald guy Bubba? I heard Bubba is short and bald.

Bubba is MOST certainly NOT short and bald. Actually, most folks consider Bubba to be rather tallish and somewhat handsom (in a redneck bib overalls kinda way)

hahahahaha - I got it figured out! But right now there are no tacky ribbons in the pictures - you're going have to wait for that!!
