I really like Boss and would love to have a pup out of him.What I am wondering is has any of Boss's offspring come back as a carrier of this EIC ? I haven't seen any dogs so far listed that were out of him does anyone know if there is any carriers so far ? This doesn't mean I still wouldn't want a pup out of him !He was an awesome dog !!!!!!

I don't have any idea, but remember this: If Boss has been widely bred, and if the carrier rate is 40% then he would almost certainly have sired some carriers EVEN IF HE IS CLEAR because if he (or any other stud) has been bred to very many bitches then he has almost certainly been bred to some bitches who were carriers. What I'm saying is that even if he has sired some carriers (again, I have no idea) it wouldn't necessarily mean that HE is a carrier. The question you should be asking IMO is has he sired any AFFECTED dogs. Having sired carriers (if he has) proves NOTHING.

The word on the street is that Boss was not a carrier. I have heard conflicting reports about his sire, Harley, but I'm starting to think Harley was not a carrier. Anyone else have an opinion on Harley?
Please let us know if you hear of any boss progeny that are affected.
