Old Alcee has been getting away with racist overtones and far worse for many years.
Pretty darn sad when you realize that many of his constituents in his district are so filled with hate and loathing that they will agree with his comments.

It sounds like Hastings comments are a little bit off the wall. However, with Palin's rep there and not making any statement or comment about Hastings comment, or in defense of Palin, it makes me wonder what was left out as far as the content of the entire speech. bud GO OBAMA!!!

Bob, how did he get elected to congress? The majority of the people in his district obviously hold his views, or aren't paying attention. I lived in Seattle for years, home of Jim McDermott one of the biggest whack jobs in congress. One of the neighborhoods in his district is home to the nude bicycle parade (just like it sounds) and a life size statue of Lenin. One of the delights of representative goverment.
