Personally, I was always opposed to the bailout. The continued tumble of the dow just confirms my position to me.

The reported additional failures keep driving the DOW down. As the DOW seems to recover we keep getting hit with more news. Now the European Union says they need to save their banks. Another loss to the DOW.

What I don't understand is Franklin Raines helped destroy Fannie Mae and meanwhile he can count the 21 million he took out of Fannie Mae.

I don't believe that to be the case.

I think we'd be right where we are without the bailout plan. Its gonna be tough for a little bit.

Really the Dow plummetting has to do with the general lack of faith in our government.

I mean, crap, we have a bailout plan with how many of the billions being pork and not really pertaining to the issue? We can't even get stuff through congress in times of EMERGENCY without have to kiss someone's ass.......
