Parades for George Bush GDG
Not too long ago, many of our highly educated fellow citizens were complaining about 4-dollar gas and how it was all Bush's fault. Now that gas is below $2.50, I'm assuming that cities around the country are organizing parades in honor of W's masterful lowering of gas prices.

I dont think lower oil prices are a sign of prospering economy.
Guess that depends on where one fits in the economic equation, huh?

Gas may be cheaper but there is soon going to be less able to afford the $2 gas...global economy sucks...when it comes to natural resources we are playing a zero sum game.
$2.50??? Where are you located? Here in So Cal it is still over $3.00 a gallon!

If you want to throw a parade for him for putting us in a serious recession, thereby lowering the demand for gas then go ahead.
Although I love a parade, I believe this is a parade I'll have to miss
$2.09 in Chisago, MN. It is funny that gas was $2.19 in November 2006, Dems took over the senate, and it went to over $4. Obama only says that he wishes the prices had gone up slower. Not that they were too high, just slower!
