I do agree that the bickering / anon reports appear very petty.
However, most of the postmortums on the McCain campaign indicate her selection was a major issue. He got a boost at first but later I feel she was a big hinderance. Her selection pretty much invalidated his arguement that Obama lacked experience.
Priceless!! A supporter of the Socialist-Leaky ticket providing critique on the choice of a running mate.

Free country Marvin. I am one of those valuable independent voters that decide the election. You know, one of the middle 20% that don't vote the party line regardless of the person running.
Plus - you don't know who I voted for. I am left leaning in comparison to this forum membership only.
The talk of her running again as the top name on the ticket concerns me greatly as to the direction of the GOP.
I'd like to have a beer with her but that's about it.

My guess why McCain picked her was to appease the right wing of his party or to pull in some of the Hillery supporters, or both. Her abuse of power as governor of Alaska in trying to get her sex-brother-in-law fired from his state patrol post, said to me she is petty, unscrupulus and vindictive.
